Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh, Taman Berkeley, Klang

Today, my sister, her family and I decided to drive to Klang for Bak Kut Teh. We had a few rounds of debate as we can't decide which outlet to go to (too many good BKT outlets in Klang). We finally settle for Mo Sang Kor Bak Kut Teh, Taman Berkeley, Klang.

Lean Meat
We arrived around noon time and to our surprise, almost everything has been sold out. We were offered only lean meat.

Pai Kuat
We had a bowl of "pai kuat", a bowl of "sam chan bak" and another 3 bowls of other lean meat.

Sam Chan Bak
The meat is cooked with garlic bulbs and served in small porcelain bowls. They do not give a lot of soup and do not serve yau choy or yau char kuey.

Lean Meat
Must go early to have more meat choices and also to try out the other outlets that also sells BKT and Mee Hun Kuey. A few doors away, there is the original Pao Xiang outlet and according to my brother-in-law, Fatty Mee Hun Kuey is also good.

Lean Meat
So much good food but we cannot eat anymore. Moreover, we are planning to continue the journey to Tanjung Sepat for the famous "mui choy" pau and more food.

Restaurant Bak Kut Teh Yap Chuan - Bukit Raja Klang

Lee San, SA and I, met Yen Peng in Bukit Raja, Klang for Bak Kut Teh to celebrate my birthday. So sweet of them :)

This is my first time eating at the Restaurant Bak Kut Teh Yap Chuan. If I'm not mistaken, they have another shop in Puchong which has been featured by Ah Xian http://blog.axian788.com/?p=334/ . Check out their website.

We ordered a pot of dry Bak Kut Teh (干肉骨茶), a pot of the traditional Bak Kut Teh, yau choy and yau char kuey.

Dry Bak Kut Teh
The dry Bak Kut Teh (干肉骨茶) is a must try.

Soupy Bak Kut Teh
The traditional Bak Kut Teh is not bad too. The soup is thick.

Thanks Lee San, SA and Yen Peng for introducing this place to me and for celebrating my birthday.

After our Bak Kut Teh session, we swing by Klang Food Centre to buy steamed bun and as usual, I bought > 70 buns (mui choi, kau yok and choi pau) to share with my neighbor and my sister. Another great Saturday out with my buddies :)
