Wantan Noodles

Wonton noodles or wantan mee is a Cantonese noodle dish.  The dish is usually served in a hot broth, garnished with leafy vegetables, and wonton dumplings. In Malaysia, Wonton noodles is served with soup or dry (kon low). Slices of BBQ pork (char siu) are added to the dish. In the dry version, soup and wontons are served in a separate bowl. Apart from BBQ pork, roast pork, roast duck or chicken are added in replacement of wantons.

Wantan noodles are available in coffee shops, food courts and in specialized shops:

Kon Low Wantan Mee (Fat Noodles)

You can choose between the regular thinner version of noodle or opt for the fatter version. Both are equally delicious.

Wantan Soup

The kon low wantan mee is served char siew, sawi and with a bowl of wantan soup. Be prepared to wait during weekend when the coffee shop is packed.

Wantan Mee Konlow
Their wantan mee (either konlow or soup) is really good. What I like best is the free flow preserved cut green chillies and their sambal. My first time taking wantan mee with sambal and it taste really good.
