Restaurant Kow Siew is located at 28-G, Jalan Pandan Indah 4/6a, Pandan Indah. It is an off shoot of the famous Restaurant Soo Kee (Tai See Tow) , fresh river prawn mee in Imbi, KL.
The price of the fresh river prawn mee (sang har mien) is really no "kow siew" (no joking in Cantonese). Read on the know why "no joke".

Sang Mien Hor Fun |
A group of us (5 pax) went to the restaurant for lunch today. We ordered 1 plate of fresh river prawn mee, 2 plates of hor fun (1 plate with beehoon and kuay teow and the other, with sang mien), 2 plates of Kong Choy Sum and a pot of Chinese tea. Each plate noodle is suppose to be for 2 person.
Guess how much is our bill? It came up to RM160.00 :( We were forewarned that lunch was going to be expensive but we were shocked to know that plate of fresh river prawn mee cost RM110.00! The other 2 noddle dishes cost RM15.00/plate which was pretty reasonable because there are prawns too (but smaller in size), pork slices and sang cheong.

Fresh River Prawn Mee |
The fresh river prawn mee came with 2 gigantic prawns and taste really good but it's SUPER expensive! On the way back to the office, we laughed about the feeling of being slaughtered.

Hong Kong Choy Sum |
I particularly like the Hong Kong Choy Sum which is cooked in a simple way with some gravy and maintaining the crunchiness. We ordered another plate after finishing the first plate. Forgot to ask how much it cost.
You need to make sure you bring enough cash if you are planning to order fresh river prawn mee. Overall, food and ambient was good.
