Saloma Theatre Restaurant - KL

We had a regional meeting in KL from Nov 15 to 16, 2010 and we went to Saloma Theater Restaurant for group dinner. Saloma Theatre Restaurant is strategically located in the Golden Triangle, within the shopping, entertainment and business hub. The buildings and surroundings provide tourist a breathtaking view of the city's skyscrapers with the backdrop of the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers. Named after the legendary actress-singer Saloma who captured the hearts of Malaysians of all ages, the Saloma Theatre Restaurant offers a gastronomic experience showcasing the flavours of Malaysia and cultural show by the Saloma Dancers.

As a native Malaysian, I do not find the food that fantastic but if you have guests from overseas, paying RM70 nett per adult for the buffet and show, is actually not that expensive as your guests get to try the flavours of Malaysia and be mesmerize with upbeat traditional and cultural performance. If they will to order the Saloma Sling (RM15++ per mug), a zesty fruit punch, they will also get to take the mug back as souvenir.

Even as a native Malaysian, I ordered the Saloma Sling so that I get the mug to remind me of the evening with the team @ Saloma Theatre Restaurant :)
