Mix BKT |
Teo Chew Bak Kut Teh is my brother-in-law's favorite place for brunch after Sunday church service.
Their soup is not as thick as the ones in Klang but taste wise, it's on par. All the meats are cook till very tender. Clay pots are use to ensure the bak kut teh is warm through out the entire meal.
Kiam Chai |
Apart from Bak Kut Teh, they also offer braised pork, braised trotter, vinegar pork, vinegar trotter, preserved salted vegetable (kiam chai) and the usuals; yau char kuey, tau pok and yau choy.
They also offer plain rice, "yau fun" (oil rice) and yam rice to go with their BKT. Not many places offer yam rice with BKT these days.
We had a pot of mix BKT (for 3 person), one portion of braised pork, one bowl of tau pok, one bowl of "kiam chai" and 2 bowls of "yau char kuey". Our total bill was RM79.00 including soft drinks and 8 bowls of oil rice.
Service was not so good today as they may be short-handed during Chinese New Year period.
