Fish Head Noodles - May Mey Gourmet Seafood Restaurant

May Mey Gourmet Seafood Restaurant is a seafood restaurant by night but during the day, there is a stall in this restaurant that sells delicious fish head noodles and Fook Chow fish ball noodles.

May Mey Gourmet Seafood Restaurant is located in Kuala Ampang, before Mei Keng Fatt Seafood Restaurant. During a hot day, the restaurant is super hot even though there are fans running at full speed but you will still see the lunch crowd.


Fish Head Noodles in Milky Soup

The fish head noodles comes in milky soup as well as in Tom Yum soup. I've tried both variations but my preferred choice is still with the milky soup.

You may request for the lady boss to use crispy fish head or crispy fish meat if you do not fancy fish head. If you don't like the crispy version, you can also request for the non-fried version of fish meat. You can also request for Fook Chow or normal fish balls to be added too.

Fish Head Noodles with Fish Balls

Mine is always crispy fish meat with normal fish balls as I want the best of both worlds.

The fish head noodles is served with separate add-ons like 'tong choi" and sambal belacan with lime. If you like chilli padi, you may request for it. I normally take mine with sambal belacan and chilli padi but I will skip the "tong choi".

Most time, we will end up soaking in sweat due to the heat but very happy because of the delicious bowl of noodles :)
