Su Ok San Korea BBQ Restaurant - One Avenue Ampang

If you are making a visit to “Little Korea” in Ampang, make your way to Su Ok San, one of the many Korean restaurants there. The restaurant is run by Koh Wi-Hwan and his family. Food is genuine (when we were there, there are many Koreans taking their lunch), service is efficient and there is an air of friendliness in the place.

Kin Chi with Pork Belly Soup
Alvin and I ordered the traditional kim chi and pork belly soup with BBQ beef.

Seafood Kim Chi Soup
Tan ordered traditional kim chi with seafood soup and set comes with BBQ beef too.
BBQ Beef
The pork belly soup and the dainty BBQ beef are very tasty. I finished Tan's portion too as he does not eat beef :)

Side Dishes
Lunch was served with a table full of side dishes; chinese cabbage kim chi, chives kim chi, radish kim chi, potatoes, bean sprouts, spinach, brinjals, fried long beans, fish cakes and mini korean pancake. There were just too much food for the three of us.

Out total bill came up to RM60.00 (no sales or service tax) including rice and ice water. If we have more time, we would have tried the BBQ.
