Lerk thai offers a bountiful mix of authentic palace cuisine, hybrid fusion dishes and street food. With the plethora of dips and pastes used in their cuisine, food lovers can now explore a wider selection of culinary delights at Lerk Thai.
Located at Setiawangsa Jusco AU2, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 54200 TEL: 6016 210 0162, it is the nearest mall/Thai restaurant from my office and since KH wanted to go to the mall to draw cash, we decided to take lunch at Lerk thai AU2.
We ordered the set lunch menu for 4 person (RM79.90++) with comes with Tom Yum Seafood Clear Soup, Special Prawn Cake, Stir Fried Beef with Basil Leaf, Crispy Omelet with Crab meat, Fried Kangkung Belacan and white rice.

Tom Yum Seafood Clear Soup |
The Tom Yum Seafood Clear Soup is cooked with lots of lemon grass. It served in individual bowl. Quite tasty but I still prefer the spicy Tom Yum soup.
|
Prawn Cake |
The special Prawn Cake is great, especially if it's dipped with Thai chilli sauce and taken together with the shredded cabbage and carrot.
|
Stir Fried Beef with Basil Leaf |
Simply love the Stir Fried Beef with Basil Leaf. Unfortunately KH does not eat beef :( Ernest and I had to clear this dish.
|
KangKung Belacan |
The Kangkung Belacan is crunchy and not too spicy or salty. The Crab meat Omelet is also not too bad even though I could hardly see any crab meat.
|
Crispy Omelet with Crab Meat |
Nice quite and air-conditioned place for lunch. Overall food was quite nice but a bit pricey as the dishes are simple dishes.

Lemon Grass Drink |
Try the lemon grass drink. Apparently it's a good cleanser that helps to detoxify the liver, pancreas, kidney, bladder and the digestive tract. It is said to cut down uric acid, cholesterol, excess fats and other toxins in the body while stimulating digestion, blood circulation and lactation. Not sure about it's medical value but I simply love the drink.
