Sun Ming Restaurant @ Taman Connaught

Siew Yok and Char Siew
This place is famous for their roast duck and char siew (BBQ Pork). Lunch time is always pack and long queue for take-aways. Best time to visit is around 11am when the roasted meats are ready and delivered piping hot to the counter.
 
Roast Chicken
 We ordered "yau fun" (oily rice), siew yok (roast pork), char siew (BBQ Pork), cheong (roast pig's intestine), roast chicken and "suen lat choy" (sour and spicy vegetables).  
Roast Pig's Intestine
Thumbs up for all the dishes but my favourite dish is still the char siew. The roast pork is not too bad too but the BBQ pork is simply marvelous, melts in the mouth and not too sweet. 

Suen Lat Choy
The suen lat choy (sour and spicy vegetables) gets it name from the sourness of the tamarind juice and the spiciness of the dried chillies that are added to the soup. The other key ingredients are of course the left-over meat (pork/chicken) or chicken parts (e.g. the neck and bones) and "tua chai" (mustard green).

We left the place with a big smile on our face. Total bill came up to RM79.00 including drinks and an additional plate of char siew.
